We use high quality paints from recognized paint suppliers and can offer extensive colour ranges. Paint finishes are made up from a combination of coatings, when applied in the correct sequence will produce a high quality protective finish. The initial stage of any paintwork is to thoroughly prepare the surface, a procedure that is labour intensive but essential to achieve the required result. The paint can be applied by spraying or brushing this is dependant on the type of boat and the owners preference.

Internal Paintwork
Colour matching and spraying of doors, edgings and other fixtures is available.

Caring for your Wood
Wood has a beauty of its own. The preparation of the wood is the most critical aspect of the job. Poor preparation will always show through to the final coat, it will reduce the effectiveness of the coating system and can potentially lead to the premature failure and separation of the coating from the substrate.
There is a vast choice of varnishes to choose from.

Antifouling/ Underwater areas
The spraying of Antifoul is a quick and efficient process, when applied correctly causes no mess or inconvenience. Antifouling is probably the most important painting job on a boat. The type of Antifouling you choose should be tailored to the challenges in your boating area. Good preparation and priming is essential to ensure that the Antifouling adheres to the surface for the duration of the product life. It is vital to protect your boat through Antifouling as once fouling has a hold on your hull, it will rapidly colonise the surface, making it difficult to remove. We recommend Antifoul is sprayed on giving a smoother and more even finish. The more uniform coating through spray application will improve the drying process.
We have a vast experience in underwater areas and the protection they require. We offer a wide and varied range of protective coatings applied by rolling or brushing ie Copper Coating or Epoxy coating.

Filling and Fairing
Filling refers to the filling and shaping of low areas so they blend with the surrounding areas and appear "fair" to the eye and touch. Skill is required to achieve this finish which is a labour intensive operation.

The correct materials should be used at all times and knowledge of their use is essential
